Bayside Covenant Church in Galt started as the last of a series of Bayside Church “Family of Churches” plant in 2009, meeting at Liberty Ranch High School in Galt. We officially became a member church of the Pacific Southwest Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church in July 2015. In October 2015, we secured a loan for the purchase of the building at 501 B. Street in Galt, our current church home.
When you visit Bayside Galt, you will find that we combine the high octane DNA of Bayside Church (a Thrive Network Church with four locations in Granite Bay, Roseville, Folsom, and Midtown Sacramento) with the intimate setting of a church in a smaller community. While we believe that it is central to our mission to reach the folks in Galt and Lodi and the surrounding communities, we also draw folks from all over the greater Sacramento region, with members coming from Stockton and Elk Grove and even as far as Rio Linda and Roseville.
We are a multi-generational, multi-racial church with folks from all life stages. You will feel equally at home at Bayside whether you are a part of a growing family with young children, an empty-nester, or even a single or newly-single. We also have engaging groups and fun activities for your teenager, so families with older children will find that everyone has a place to belong.
We believe that we are just one of many churches in the Galt-Lodi area that God has called to do amazing things that we cannot do apart from Him. Whether you’ve had a hard week and just need a quiet place to get refreshed, or whether you are excited to make new friends and get actively involved, we’re open weekends.
We have services on Sunday at 9:00 AM, and look forward to meeting you!
